Through this special 2 weekend workshop, students will learn how to write their own songs. Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years in order to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend the first weekend learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance on the last Saturday of the workshop (November 17 & 18 Dec 15 & 16). Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had previous instruction.
